The resident s enjoyed the play at Starlighters, The Clown Car! Mamye English grandson was one of the detectives! She was excited to see him perform!

Our ladies that volunteer and help fold napkins for laundry everyday!

The residents made crayon flower boutiques to hang on their doors! They had fun with this project!

 

We colored some Easter Eggs and set them around the facility! We did many different designs and colors!

 

April is Occupational Therapy Month. The Occupational Therapists at Millennium Therapy do a great job helping our residents be successful at the care center and when they return home!

Meet Marissa Besler, Certified Occuaptional Therapist Assistant and Rehab Coordinator at the Anamosa Care Center.
She currently lives in Monticello along with her son Jerin, 11 , significant other Jeff and their lab Judd. She is also currently enrolled in Purdue Global University.
Marissa graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School in Delhi in 2004 and Kirkwood Community College in May of 2007.
She has been employed with Millennium Therapy since June of 2009. Marissa enjoys working with Millennium Therapy because they are a smaller state-wide company and they offer flexibility.
Marissa enjoys being an COTA as she gets to interact with a variety people daily and enjoys watching the progress patients make to obtain their goals and return home.
