Please join me in congratulating Jessica Geiger on accepting the Assisted Living Director position at Woodland Park Assisted Living.

Jessica joined the Anamosa Care Center in February 2018 as an LPN. Before her position at ACC, she worked for Tanager Place of Cedar Rapids as a Youth Service Worker and LPN for 8 years.

She graduated from Vinton High School and later continued her education at Kirkwood receiving her nursing degree and became licensed in 2017.

Jessica is eager to get started and said, “I am excited to get to know the residents and learn more through this position.”

Jessica has a wonderful, positive attitude and will bring joy and care to the tenants of the Assisted Living. We are excited to have her on our leadership team.

 

Iowa’s New Cards being mailed

New Medicare cards are starting to be mailed to people in Iowa. The new cards have a new Medicare number that’s unique to the card holder, instead of the individual’s social security number. The change is intended to prevent fraud and identity theft. As soon as you receive your new card, please bring a copy to the business office. If you do not get a card within the next month, call 1-800-Medicare (1-800-633-4227). There might be something that needs to be corrected, such as updating the mailing address. Thank you!
