Hey Everyone,

Happy 4th of July! The heat is finally here, and boy do we feel it. We had some fun this last month with having our first “drive-in movie” which the residents loved, then we made two different kinds of wreaths one was a watermelon and then one for the 4th of July. We attempted to make homemade ice cream and it didn’t go quite as planned but no worries we still ended up eating store bought.

This month we have some exciting crafts to keep the residents. They will be trying to make their own jewelry, tie dye some hand towels, tissue paper painting and a pinecone bouquet. Then we will have a visitor coming to the Care Center Jack the Donkey. I am sure the residents will love to see Jack back at the facility.

I have planned for some outside activities like a sponge toss, we are going to do some squirt gun painting (which may get a little messy but hopefully a lot of fun)! I can’t forget about celebrating Nation Daiquiri Day on the 19th with the residents.

I hope everyone has a fabulous summer!

Thank you,

Hailee Adams
