Robert Ivan Hora was born in Morley on November 21, 1934, the son of Joe and

 Alice (Tenley) Hora. He graduated from Morley High School in May of 1952. On October 17,

 1954 he married Betty L. Hults at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, rural Monticello.
