Activity in Action
Did April just fly by? We have made it to May and boy do we have a busy month ahead of us. First, we will be starting the month up with celebrating our fabulous nurses. Starting May 6th, it is National Nurse’s Week and I think they deserve more than a week, our nurses are phenomenal! We can’t thank them enough for everything they do for us and the residents. At the end of the week we will be making hats for the Kentucky Derby that is happening on that following Saturday.
The following week is a PARTY week for us, its National Nursing Home Week and do we have a fun week planned for the residents and staff! I know that later in the newsletter the administrator will be telling you all the juicy details so stay tuned. But before we get to excited about Nursing Home Week we can’t forget about Mother’s Day on May 8th we will be having a little tea party in favor for all the mother’s here at the Anamosa Care Center.
The next couple of weeks start to slow down after all the excitement at the beginning of the month. I have some fun crafts in plan, and we are finally getting some more live entertainment starting on the weekend again! At the end of the month, we will be honoring those who died while serving in the US Military on Memorial Day.
